We need to recruit senior people in the category of Manager and above specialized in the BOP area as early as possible..



The guidelines shall be as follows:



a) Experience Level : 4 to 6 years

Experience in Coal Fired / Combined Cycle Power Plant ( Unit Size 200 MW and above )



1) Water Balance Diagram – preparation , optimization on water consumption

2) CW System & Intake Facility – P&ID ; System Calculation for Intake , Forebay and Sump

3) Optimization of CW System

4) CFD & Flow Model Study

5) Transient Analysis of CW System , determination of ARVs

6) Optimization of CW Pipe Material & thickness – vis-a-vis

7) CW Pump ( Concrete Volute & Vertical Turbine ) – Sizing Calculation , Bid Evaluation , Vendor Engg., Performance Testing , Aux. Power Calculation

8) Techno-economic comparison between Concrete Volute & Vertical Turbine type CW Pump – considering effect on Mech. , Civil and Electrical

9) Test Procedures for CW Pump

10) Cooling Tower – Thermal Calculation , Preparation of BOQ , Bid Evaluation , Interface Engg. with Civil

11) Stop Log Gates , Trash Rack , TWS and Debris Filter

12) ACW , CCW System , PHE - P&ID , Sizing Calculation, Bid Evaluation , Detailed Engg.,

13) Condensate Transfer System - P&ID , Sizing Calculation, Detailed Engg etc.
