Role – Mechanical Lead engineer (Piping)
Location- Bangalore

Role Summary/Purpose

The role of a Lead engineer is to execute and review the documents /drawings to ensure high quality and on time delivery. During this process he/she provides technical mentoring and coaching to develop the team’s capability and expertise.
Essential Responsibilities
• Design and Analyze Piping and Mechanical systems for Oil & Gas plants including Structural supports
• Analyze and suggest design changes to satisfy ASME Codes, company design practices and system level requirements
• Expertise to run, interpret Piping stress and Piping Flow Analysis
• Develop conceptual/preliminary/

detailed design of Seal/lube oil piping systems
• Prepare/Review specification and Supplier bid qualifications of required accessories for Gas turbine/compressor
• Able to generate the ideas in simplifying systems
• Well documentation of design & analysis work
• Understanding on Gas turbine driven Centrifugal Compressor applications
• Develop communication plans for projects and keep all the stakeholders updated on project deliverable's status.
• Create or contribute to various initiatives like Design Practices, Design Templates and Drawing Templates.
• Work with Global Leadership to capture the technical requirements / expectations and exceed commitments through personal effort and leadership.
• Drive knowledge sharing sessions and lessons learnt to prevent the defects in future.


Qualifications/Requirements

• Master or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with more than 4 to 6 years of Mechanical, Piping and Auxiliaries design with Consultancy/Detailed Engineering experience.
• Familiarity and Usage of right International Codes and Standards (like ASME, API etc.,)
• Demonstrated expertise in Packaging (Centrifugal Compressors, Gas Turbine & Steam Turbine) design, External Skids design, GA, piping layout, piping support, Basic fundamental knowledge on Stress and Fluid Flow.
