Works hand-in-hand with Senior CADD / Draftsman in designing plans using CADD and systematic drafting techniques of construction details of all complex structure based on the projects specifications. The Document Controller is directly under the supervision of the Documentation Engineer. File and maintain the existing Engineering documents together with incoming documents, in an orderly and controlled manner. Receives records and files all incoming documents and procedure distribution copies. Prepares Document Transmittal and issue copies as requested or upon instruction of the Documentation Engineer. Ensure the issued copies being used by the recipient personnel is the current revision and to collect any superseded documents and replace it with the latest issues. Ensure accurate maintenance of master duplication and transmittal status logs at all times. Perform other work assignment as directed by Documentation Engineer. At least three (3) to five (5) years (post qualification) work experience in Documentation controlling and filling works which covers engineering technical bid documents and other related construction project and company documents. Proficient in Data Base. Middle East experience is considered essential. Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a University and / or College Education / Vocational Courses & Certification: Diploma in any Engineering / Technical Courses. 5 ENGINEER – MECHANICAL
Supervises and leads mechanical crews, ensuring all aspects of performance and work are in compliance with project specifications and completed within planned time and budget constraints. Supervises and leads foremen, skilled labour, and work crews in all activities concerned with mechanical works aspects of a construction project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the project. Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills, following policies, procedures and work practices, and developing improvements where necessary. Ability to prepare method statements and procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation. Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations. Commands respect of his foremen, skilled labour and discipline workforce, and develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management. Able to lead and motivate staff towards a common goal or objective. Must be an excellent communicator. Able to give instructions and transfer knowledge in an efficient and effective way at all levels, client, management, supervision, co-workers and staff. Liaises with other discipline staff to ensure the optimum interface of the various operational activities, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project. Reviews quantities of materials received or used during specified periods, in order to minimize wastage and inefficiency. Ensures that all work is in conformity to standards and specifications. Interprets specifications and discusses deviations from specified mechanical procedures to ensure full compliance with QA/QC inspection plans and procedures. Identifies and implements “on-the-job” training programs with the aim of developing and improving team members’ competency in required skills and abilities. Extensive familiarity with mechanical works with at least five (5) years of experience in supervisory position. Seven (7) to ten (10) years experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably within petrochemicals. Middle East experience is considered essential. 6 ENGINEER – PIPING
Develops and checks specification, line list and line numbers flow diagrams in conformance with project requirements, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. Reviews flow diagrams for internal cleaning requirements. Develop material, insulation and coatings specifications. Performs overall material take-off (mechanical, support and painting) for the awarded Projects. Identify discrepancies between piping materials requirements for fabrication versus the client supplied materials. Coordinates with material receiving section and prepare reports for any shortages encountered. Reconcile with the client (PMT) at the end of projects. Assigns line numbers and line class specifications to flow diagrams. Compiles the commodity catalog. Develop the piping material dimensional data book. Performs pipe wall calculations. Update master flow diagrams. Assists in the development of the Request for Quotation packages. Reviews of Bid tabulations for technical acceptability. Develops piping pressure test data and test system packages. Performs other duties and functions as required by immediate superior. Must have a minimum of five (5) years engineering experience preferably with a multinational construction or petrochemical industries. At least five (5) years exposure in the same field. Middle East experience is an advantage. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7 ENGINEER - STRUCTURAL
Designs structure to withstand such pressures as weather and human use. Work in close partnership with architects. Examines structure at risk of collapse and advising how to improve structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure. Considers the strength of various materials, e.g. timber, concrete, steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design. Analyses configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure. Liaises with other designers, including architects to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction. Calculates the pressure, stresses and strains that each component such as a beam or lintel, will experience from other parts of structure due to human use or environmental pressures.
Makes drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for building contractors. Liaises with constructions contractors to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally erected. At least five (5) years experience preferably with a multinational construction or petrochemical industries as Structural Engineer, Middle East experience is ad advantage. 8 ENGINEERING - SUPERVISOR
9 GFM – STRUCTURAL
Supervises crews engaged in structural erection works aspects of construction. Supervises workers engaged in the construction of buildings and other structural works and assists the supervising Engineer in the coordination and performance or related activities such as layout and fabrication of structural. Supervises in reading blueprints and interprets data including dimensions. Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, material, and tools. Supervise work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercised discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness. Keeps records of work completed and completion of “action lists”. Identifies, formulates and implements “on-the-job” training programs for the workforce under his responsibility. At least eight (8) years experience in the construction industry of which the last five (5) years must have been as a Civil Structural. Middle East experience is an advantage. 10 ENGINEER – MATERIAL
Modifies materials to improve the performance, durability and cost effectiveness of processes and products. Quantify the volume on each assigned specific discipline of the given bid documents as per available bid drawings, applicable reference documents and bid scope of works. Establish estimated direct man hours, consumables, bill of materials, equipment line-up, sub-contract quotation and cost summary. Identify MMG’s major supplied permanent plant materials and sub-contract items. Prepare materials cost request for sub-contract quotation. Attend and report of Job-Ex meeting and site visit. Coordinates with other disciplines with regard to interfacing of works to eliminate double charging and identify missing items. List of gray areas for clarification. Performs other duties and function required by immediate superior. Must have a minimum of five (5) years engineering experience preferably with a multinational construction or petrochemical industries. At least five (5) years exposure in the same field. 12 SALES ENGINEER
Understands product capability, determine solutions, service affect opportunities and sales exposure within the organization. Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans and related customers documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel. Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent of deliberations; recommending options and courses of actions; implementing directives. Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering application trends. Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes. Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications in customer environment, engineering and proposing changes in equipment, processes or use of materials of service. At least five (5) years experience preferably with a multinational construction or petrochemical industries with five (5) continuous years experience as Sales Engineer. Middle East experience is ad advantage. Education: Masters / Bachelor Degree in any Engineering Courses, Marketing, Psychology and Business related fields from a reputable University or Colleges. 13 SHOP COORDINATOR
Time management for daily operations of an instrument or machines, records and maintenance of all machine shop equipment. Plans and organize work schedule for the various projects depending on urgency, shop’s overall workload, available materials, tooling and ability. Prepares specifications for the machine tools, welding equipment and in some cases woodworking tools. Rebuilds and repair all machinery as necessary. Evaluates bids submitted for machine tools and welding equipment. Develops and administers shop policies and procedures. Develops or drafts the conceptual design into a practical work design. At least five (5) to seven (7) years experience in a large construction or engineering fields as a Instrument / Shop Coordinator. Middle East experience is considered essential.
