Piping Designers

Tech USA has an immediate need for 2-3 Piping Designers to support a national EPC firm's heavy industrial project work in their Greenville, SC office. Strong AutoCAD 2D experience required.

We are seeking experienced Piping Designers that will support the piping design group to develop construction drawings for industrial manufacturing facilities and some pharmaceutical plant work. Qualified candidates will have proficiency within utility and industrial process piping design. Will also possess the ability to perform project site visits in order to collect data and field measurements, be deadline oriented, and have ability to communicate with project team members and Project Managers.

Will provide per diem for qualified out of town candidates willing to move to Greenville, SC long-term.

Requirements:
*5-15 years experience in process piping design within an industrial project environment
**Advanced knowledge and experience with CAD 2D**
*Prefer software experience with PDMS, Autoplant, and/or other 3D design packages

Catia V5: 2 – 6 years of experience in Aerospace Component/structure Design/ using Catia basic. Good knowledge in drawing reading, GD &T and rework on manufacturing defects (Concessions). The Manufacturing Methods, Planning, Assembly & Installations knowledge are the added advantage.

Qualification for all the above positions: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech/MS in respective streams.

Unigraphics:
2 -3 years exp. in Design of Aircraft/Aero engine / Automobile components using UG NX4/6.
Exposure to manufacturing of components in respective fields will be an added preference.
Position involves design of Compressor, External and Mechanical system components of aero engine. It involves desing of gear drive system and compressor airfoil and cases. Candidate conversent with UG modules of Modeling, drafting and assembly with Team Center engineering.
