Title: Costing Engineer- Mechanical (COE)

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Study of tender documents, BOQ estimation, RFQ for obtaining quotes for material and services (Sub-contract), estimation of resources (Manpower, equipment, tools & tackles, vehicles, and consumables),
costing, proposals making, analysis of risks factors, for mechanical and piping jobs.
Shall coordinated with other departments and disciplines so as to complete the proposal in all respects.

Reporting to:
Costing Manager

Replaced By (in case of absent)
Tender Coordinator

Qualification and Experience
Graduate in Mechanical engineering with minimum 8yrs experience in the oil & gas/refinery out of which 5 years in costing and estimation work.

Reports Issued by job holder
As per job requirements

Responsible for:
Mechanical costing & Coordination

Skills
Ability to price tender independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills, Fluent in Spoken & written English.
Computer literate and command in Excel.

Authorities
NA

Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 8-10 years experience in O&G/Petrochemical/Refineries in India,

GCC experience preferred.

Thorough knowledge in estimation and costing with clear focus on design and BOQs, preferably in EPC works related to piping,
equipment, and associated civil & structural works. Excellent in computer skills, Autocad knowledge preferred.
Requirement is for HO, but must be prepared to work at sites.

Salary: KWD 1000-1300 + Transport + Bachelor Accommodation. Joining Date: On or before 1st Aug 2012.
