Reporting to the Lead Instrumentation Designer you will generate and develop instrument design drawings and related documents in order to meet client requirements.
* Determine estimated time for work completion.
* Liaise with the engineers during the design phase to allocate designer resources to achieve the discipline design targets and complete all design deliverables within the approved staff hour budget and schedule. Provide input to the project control and reporting systems.
* Understand project, client and engineer"s requirements and specifications, both oral and written, and design the drawings/ deliverables as per these specifications.
* Sketch layouts or perform involved calculations as required for cable installations.
* Design and prepare detailed 2D and/or 3D construction drawings of plant, Instrument Location Plan, Cable Tray Layout, MCT Layout, equipment or other structures and other engineering deliverables as required.
* Prepare Instrument Installation details, Junction Box wiring, Instrument Interconnection drawings, instrument Cable Schedule, Safety grounding layout, Instrument Loop drawings and Material calculation (MTO).
