Role Summary/Purpose Design, Analysis and detail engineering of steel structures including pipe racks, Compressor shelter and Foundations for Oil and Gas projects
Essential Responsibilities * Calculation of loads and perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures based on building codes and specifications.
* Work with Drafting/Design team to develop structural drawings.
* Review of fabrication and erecting drawings.
* Develop Foundation layouts and interface check with other underground utilities.
* Well documentation of design work.
* Understanding on industrial plant applications.
Qualifications/Requirements * Masters / Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals.
* 6 to 8 Yrs of experience in analysis, design and detailing of steel & RC structures and structural design in the filed of Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or process plants
* Knowledge of strength of materials, structural analysis, design of steel & RC structures and Structural dynamics.
* Experienced with applicable National / International codes (UBC, IBC, ASCE, AISC, BS, ACI or equivalent Indian Standards).
