Job Description:
Essential Skills :
Effective verbal and written communication skills that clearly convey information and ideas.
Ability to communicate to individuals or groups through a variety of media in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand the information.
Ability to learn Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Visio software programs, to a level of professional proficiency.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems quickly and independently.
Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical packaging systems.
Basic knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical design.
Solid understanding of CAD tools and design detailing tools.
Ability to understand DFM requirements.
Responsibilities :
Provide engineering design and guidance, along with existing team members, to advance
product definition. Solve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-
depth evaluation of multiple factors and tradeoffs. Provide hands-on skills to help produce
necessary prototypes. Work with engineering and production personnel to develop and
maintain critical manufacturing processes, tooling, test fixtures, and documentation. Assist in
component sourcing and vendor management. Prepare and present technical status reviews
Preferred candidate with background of antennas, and related equipment. Assists in
analyzing antennas to optimize thermal and electro-mechanical performance.
Expertise with SolidWorks, ProE, Inventor or equivalent
Experience in thermal modeling and stress analysis
Thorough knowledge of Sheet metal forming, bending, punching, plastic moulds, Die-casting
Comfortable negotiating tolerance specifications with Vendors
Expertise in preparing a system tolerance analysis
Expertise with engineering software analysis tools
Documents mechanical designs, including detail drawings, subassemblies, top level assemblies and Bills of Material.
Assists in producing detailed mechanical designs of antennas, drawings for antenna parts and assemblies and BOMs for top level assemblies.
Performs sustaining engineering in support of current designs in production.
Location : Hyderabad
Role : Sr. Design Engineer
Experience : 6-8 Years
Education : Bachelor's Degree or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
