JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mission of Function
The position exists to plan, coordinate, implement and support the group members of Turbine Construction Engineering of Industrial applications ( Steam turbine ) projects within the framework of policies and guidelines of SL and SAG with the objective of achieving and exceeding the business goals of the department..
1 Technical Knowledge
Must have knowledge of component designing and drafting, mechanics and Rotodynamics in order to meet all the design requirements in line with the customer/quality specifications. Must have knowledge of different materials and Heat Treatment methods. Aware of National and International standards like DIN, EN, ISO etc
2 Business Knowledge
Work as a team member for generating Spare parts Bill of Material, Technical Documentations, etc from re-engineering of the product, Must have knowledge of Project Management, Supply Chain Management and Repair Technology in order to Service Business requirements
3 Organizational Skill and Techniques
Capable of handling SAP modules such as PP, PS etc, Change management system, PDM system CAD system and standard office softwares. Must exhibits good interpersonal relationship, Presentation and Consulting skills etc
4 Vendor Development
Plan, coordinate, implement and support for developing new product/component/variant as required by the customer/market in line with the inputs in order to support the business to book profitable orders matching customer requirements/specifications.
5 Quality Management
Implement quality management system, process quality measurement systems, working procedures & guidelines, initiate corrective and preventive measures in consultation with Manager (if needed) in order to implement QMS, achievement of quality objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
6 Statutory Compliance
Ensure that the product/components are designed and engineered in line with the statutory guidelines in order to comply with the statutory requirements

Exp. Needed: Should have an experience of 3-6 years in engineering function in heavy engineering industry.
Should have atleast 2-3 years experience in product servicing engineering dept. of rotating equipment.
Should have knowledge of 2D and 3D Mechanical Softwares such as Inventor,Autocad, Proe etc

Salary: Negotiable.
